Auto/Racing

This project consisted of an 89 acre undeveloped site in Rowan County, just north of Charlotte, North Carolina. The Chassis Engineering Building is a 35,000 square foot facility of tilt-up construction on a 40 acre parcel, which houses the racing competition staff, test equipment, and parts warehouse needed to support Toyota's participation in NASCAR. The project management oversight of the experienced team of consultants involved in the design and engineering of this facility was critical to the project's success due to the highly technical racing test equipment and intricate support systems. This project also included substantial site work, road improvements, and utility infrastructure to this new site. This facility is currently going through the LEED Certification approval process.
